Schwarz Digits creates the technological foundation for digital sovereignty in Europe. As the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group, we develop and manage the IT infrastructures for the retail divisions Lidl and Kaufland, as well as Schwarz Production and PreZero. At the same time, we operate as an independent provider in the external market to support companies across Europe in their digital transformation. We bundle our core services in the areas of Cloud, Cyber Security, Data & AI, Communication, and Workspace.

Your tasks (I)

• Du betreibst und optimierst kontinuierlich die technischen Prozessabläufe durch effiziente Automatisierung und Weiterentwicklung
• Du entwickelst am OpenStack-Code in Python und gibst Änderungen an die Upstream Community zurück
• Du verantwortest die Bereitstellung von Block Storage Volumes auf Basis von OpenStack und optimierst diese kontinuierlich im Hinblick auf Performance und Verfügbarkeit 
• Du betreibst und verwaltest die umgebende Linux-basierten Systemlandschaften und gewährleistest die hohe Verfügbarkeit unserer Cloud-Infrastruktur 
• Du bist Teil eines motivierten Teams, das jederzeit nach Verbesserungen strebt und sich (und die Produkte) kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt 

Skills/Qualifications/Attributes

• Erfahrener Entwickler/in mit guten Python-Kenntnissen
• Du fühlst dich auf einem Linux-System heimisch
• Sicher im Troubleshooting in verteilten Systemen
• Gutes Know-How in der Entwicklung und Bereitstellung von Software mit Kubernetes, Docker und Helm Charts
• Fließende Englischkenntnisse für die Zusammenarbeit an europäischen Standorten
