As the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group, we develop and manage the IT infrastructures for the retail divisions Lidl and Kaufland, as well as Schwarz Production and PreZero. Your tasks

• Code & Architecture Reviews: You review code contributions and architectural proposals from your peers to ensure the quality and future-readiness of our solutions.
• Development & Stakeholder Management: You implement secure, thoroughly tested code and maintain our existing software stack. In doing so, you actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve the reliability and availability of our services.
• System Design: You design and enhance our software architecture with a focus on high availability, resilience, scalability, and performance.
• Automation & Scalability: You automate operational tasks wherever possible and ensure our software scales efficiently to meet growing demands.

Your profile

• Professional Software Engineering: You are well-versed in professional software development methodologies—from development standards to build and release management.
• Proven Track Record: You have played a key role in developing complex software systems and bring profound experience in this field.
• Backend Expertise: You have a strong background in backend development, ideally with Go. Alternatively, you have several years of experience in Java or Kotlin and a strong willingness to learn Go.
• Tech Stack: You are proficient in working with interfaces such as REST and gRPC.
• Team Mindset: You enjoy sharing your knowledge with other developers and growing together as a team.
