Introduction text
Schwarz Digits creates the technological foundation for digital sovereignty in Europe. As the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group, we develop and manage the IT infrastructures for the retail divisions Lidl and Kaufland, as well as Schwarz Production and PreZero. At the same time, we operate as an independent provider in the external market to support companies across Europe in their digital transformation. We bundle our core services in the areas of Cloud, Cyber Security, Data & AI, Communication, and Workspace.
Join us and contribute to digital sovereignty in Europe. With us, you will work at the intersection of agility and security: You will benefit from fast decision-making processes, enjoy genuine creative freedom in your projects, and be able to build upon the stable foundation of the Schwarz Group.
Here, you will shape the face and services of our cloud: You will develop the STACKIT Portal and Marketplace, the central interface for our customers - from robust backend services to the user interface.
Your Tasks
- You build it, you run it! You take responsibility for the design, implementation, and operation of our applications in the STACKIT Marketplace – focusing on Go backend services or acting as a versatile fullstack developer.
- Go & Backend Specialist: You design and develop scalable backend services and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architectures in Go (Golang), providing high-performance REST and gRPC APIs.
- UX/UI Realizer: In close collaboration with our UX designers, you transform wireframes and prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that delight our customers.
- Quality First: You don’t just write code; you guarantee the highest software quality through unit tests and end-to-end tests.
- Teamplayer & Visionary: You work agilely with Product Owners and Backend Engineers to turn technical visions into reality and actively drive the further development of our frontend tech stack.
- Mentor & Coach: You enjoy sharing your knowledge! You support your colleagues with code reviews and establish best practices in the our domain.
Your Profile
- Backend or Fullstack Engineer: You have several years of experience in professional software engineering, primarily focused on backend development (Go, microservices, API design) or fullstack development.
- Go & API Enthusiast: You master Go (Golang) or a comparable modern backend language and have deep expertise in REST API design and microservice architecture.
- Frontend Experience (Optional / Plus): Knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, and modern web architectures is a major plus for fullstack profiles, though optional for pure backend specialists.
- Tooling Pro: You are familiar with build tools (Webpack, NX), package managers (npm, yarn), and have experience setting up CI/CD pipelines (e.g., with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps) for frontend deployments.
- Cloud Affinity: Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus, as you work in a "You build it, you run it" environment and can deploy your containers yourself.
- Problem-Solver: Complex UI logic or asynchronous data streams don’t make you sweat – your analytical skills help you find elegant solutions.
- Teamplayer: You are a communication pro and enjoy working agilely in a team that pushes each other.
- Communication: English (spoken and written) is a must, as we are positioned internationally. German is a plus.
